Salzgitter Mannesmann Precision supports the principles of process-oriented quality management by which quality is considered as one of the company’s executive duties.

Each staff member stands for the quality of his/her performance. With this holistic approach, we include all relevant executive, manufacturing and supporting processes - from inquiry processing over manufacture through to surveys on customers' satisfaction - in our quality management system.

Our processes and quality assurance measures are laid down in a QM manual and the respective QM instructions and are continuously scrutinized with regard to their usefulness and efficiency, so that we are able to respond to the changing needs of our customers in the best possible way.

The quality of pre-materials is especially important to us, as it has a decisive influence on the quality of our products as well as the economic efficiency of our processes. That is why the pre-materials for our tube welding and drawing facilities, from steel melting through to the coil resp. the hollow, are manufactured according to our needs and demands. We take advantage of the possibility to tune the quality assurance measures directly with our suppliers' staff members responsible for product quality so that the fulfilment of our requirements on pre-materials can be optimized.

Regular internal and external audits confirm the high grade of reliability of our processes, from early quality planning through to dispatch.
