Occupational health, safety, environmental protection and energy policy

We regard operational safety, health and environmental protection as substantial elements of our own company policy. We see the energy management as a special field of environmental protection.

Health, safety and environmental protection means for us:

• to develop, to produce and to sell precision steel tubes considering the relevant regulations, whereby the adherence to the laws, regulations, public administrative regulations and standards is understood as minimum,
• to see operational health, safety and environmental protection as task of management and to carry out the here documented policy within all divisions of the company, which generate relevant performance for these tasks
• an obligation for the securing of the availability of information as well as all resources necessary for the reaching of the strategic and operational goals,
• the obligation to promote the awareness of the coworkers and to motivate to low risk and environmentally conscious acting e.g. careful and safe handling resources under employment of the technology placed from Salzgitter Mannesmann Precision GmbH,
• to promote efficient handling energy and the energy conservation actively,
• to specify healthy, safety, environmental goals, to publish them in-house and to control them,
• to improve health, safety and environmental protection continuously by corrective and preventive measures, i.e. reduction of risks and/or prevention of impacts and reduction of the pollutions unavoidable in the context of the business activity on a satisfactory level,
• to transact with consideration of economic interests investments into health, safety, environmental protection,
• to inform customers, suppliers and the interested public about environmental protection practiced from Salzgitter Mannesmann Precision GmbH,
• to realise the protection of the natural base of life in relation to the society and future generations by environmental orientated acting.
